Confidential wine selection, small estates & old vintage
The Champagne Amyot Rosé is a delicate and elegant champagne, primarily made from Pinot Noir, sometimes complemented by Pinot Meunier, providing a lovely complexity and attractive color.
Color: It features a pale pink to salmon hue, bright and slightly sparkling, achieved through light maceration or blending with red wine.
Nose: The nose is elegant and expressive, with a rich aromatic bouquet of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, cherry) and citrus notes, along with floral hints of rose and violet, and touches of toasted bread and brioche from aging on lees.
Palate: On the palate, it is fresh and creamy, with a lively attack and pleasant acidity highlighting the flavors of red fruits and citrus. Its soft, foamy texture, thanks to fine bubbles, is complemented by notes of brioche, hazelnut, and a hint of vanilla.
Finish: The finish is long and refreshing, with lingering notes of red fruits and a subtle mineral touch, leaving an impression of freshness and lightness.
Food Pairing: Versatile in food pairings, it is ideal as an aperitif, pairing well with canapés, fine charcuterie, and seafood. It also complements delicate dishes such as grilled fish, lightly sauced poultry, and composed salads. For those with a sweet tooth, it pairs beautifully with desserts featuring red fruits, light pastries, or fresh cheeses
